When the Mariners Met the Lie Detector: Truth at the Highest Level

The "No Lie Zone": More Than Just a Skit In the high-stakes world of Major League Baseball, "trust" is built on the field, but last season the Seattle Mariners decided to take it into the clubhouse.

They launched a video series titled the "No Lie Zone," and when they needed a professional investigator to oversee the project, they called me.

While I’m usually found in my office handling serious forensic work, this was a completely different experience. This was about fun, fan engagement, and capturing the unique spirit of a world-class team.

Internet Gold in the Clubhouse We hooked up star players to a real, professional polygraph machine and let the "hard-hitting" questions fly. The results were absolute internet gold.

Fans got to watch in real-time as these elite athletes faced the needle:

  • Logan Gilbert was caught in a "lie" when he claimed he didn't think about why Cal Raleigh’s nickname is "Big Dumper."

  • Cal Raleigh tried to play it cool regarding his status as the best catcher in baseball, only for the machine to twitch.

  • Bryan Woo and Bryce Miller faced the sensors to settle locker room debates that stats could never answer.

A Team Like Family I’ve been around many high-level organizations, but the Mariners are special. I could see immediately that these guys aren't just teammates—they are like family. The atmosphere was light-hearted, fun, and unlike any other team I’ve worked with. Their chemistry is genuine, and their energy made the project a joy. Honestly? They made me a Mariners fan for life.

Why Even Pro Athletes Sweat the Small Stuff Watching a pitcher who throws 100 mph get nervous over a locker room question proves one thing: The body doesn’t lie. As The Florida Lie Detector Guy, watching these moments is fascinating. It proves that whether you are a Major Leaguer or a private citizen in Sarasota, the physiological response to a question is universal.

My 25+ years in Law Enforcement allow me to navigate these sessions—keeping it light and fun for the fans while maintaining the forensic integrity of the equipment.

From the "No Lie Zone" to Southwest Florida While the Mariners sessions were meant for fun, they showcased the state-of-the-art computerized technology I use every day. When you book an exam for a serious matter in Port Charlotte, Fort Myers, or Naples, you get that same elite-level equipment and professional eye.

Whether it’s a viral clubhouse skit or a confidential legal exam, I bring the same "Retired Law Enforcement" edge to the chair. The Mariners might have my heart as a fan, but my commitment to the truth belongs to my clients here in Florida.

Until I came across a post about a professional hacker named Marie, I had no idea that a post could be so helpful to anyone. For that reason, I'm writing this in the hopes that it would be helpful to someone. I reached out to her via her email (infocyberrecoveryinc@gmail.com) and Telegram (@Marie_consultancy) with the sincere hope that she would assist me by breaking into my husband's email and phone, and she never let me down.
