Choosing the Right Polygraph Examination

Single Issue (1 Question)

This is the most accurate polygraph format available.

A single-issue exam focuses on one specific question. That question is carefully worded in several different ways and asked multiple times throughout the test.

This focused approach produces the highest level of accuracy and reliability.

We strongly recommend using the single-issue format whenever possible.

Multi Issue (2-4 Questions)

The maximum number of relevant questions a multi issue exam can reliably support is four. When the questions are unrelated, accuracy can drop to as low as 75%.

Important Warning: If any question receives a deceptive result, the entire exam may be considered failed — including questions answered truthfully.
